No news is good news

Not much new and interesting going on. Still coping with burnout, still no coffee in the mornings. I miss coffee, and I’m considering bringing it back into the equation. Just to see, you know?

Still messing with PHPWebsite. I need to see how hard it is to convert the Look & Feel for Not That Guy over to PHPWebsite. Then comes the hard part – translating the storefront over.

Look and Feel first, though.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

What are you eating for breakfast? Perhaps something a little more substantial than caffiene would help?

You know, that’s the interesting thing. During the BB time period (That is, Before Burnout) I was having a large coffee and that was about it. Over the XMas break I transitioned to 2 eggs and cheese (preferably on toast) and juice. This time also seems to mark the start of the “DB” (During Burnout) phase. Since recognizing what’s going on (PB or Post-Burnout), I usually drink water in the morning and then eat something once I get here.

Of course, from the late DB up to and including the current PB time periods, the mere thought of food prior to 9am makes me want to puke anyway.

I’m pretty well aware of what a good breakfast *SHOULD* do for me, but I’d rather avoid feeling nauseous for the first 2-3 hours of my day right now. I might throw some decaf at myself in the mornings, if for no other reason than I like the taste of coffee – even without caffeine
