Blame Canad…no, that’s not right

I’m only doing this because threw down the gauntlet. So without further ado:

Musical tastes meme
1 – Total volume of music files on my computer?
Uh…..which computer? The iPod has over 10Gig on it, and I think that’s everything I’ve ripped. I still have several hundred Tapes and LPs to replace with digital.

2 – The last CD I bought was..
XZibit Weapons of Mass Destruction

3a – The last song I listened to before writing this was…
According to the iPod it was The X-Ecutioners Like This from SSX3

3b – Song playing right now:
N.E.R.D. Rock Star (Nevis Remix) from SSX3

4 – Five albums I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me.
This is a really hard one, ’cause it varies with my mood, and I listen more to artists than albums. And I’m gonna break the rules and go past 5, just ’cause I’m a rebel. Here, in no particular order:

AC/DC Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Metallica …And Justice for All
Jimi Hendrix Axis: Bold as Love
The Cure Boys Don’t Cry
The Beasty Boys Ill Communication
Billy Idol Cyberpunk
Iron Maiden Number of the Beast
David Bowie Ziggy Stardust
Bauhaus Bela Luggosi’s Dead (OK, OK, it’s an EP. Sue me)
Guns & Roses Appetite for Destruction
Simon & Garfunkle Bookends
Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
The Who Tommy (although Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy is also quite a fine record)
The Soundtrack to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Jonny Cash Live at San Quentin
The original Broadway Soundtrack to Jesus Christ Superstar

I could keep going. I like at least one thing in every genre of music. And yes, that includes opera and gospel.

5 – Which 5 people are you passing this baton to, and why?
No one and everyone. If you want to give it a go, go, if you don’t, don’t!

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

I’m dissapointed you made your most recent entry no comments. I’d have to say the answer for my friends list is a definite YES.
