Saturday night

R did the grocery run, and I did investigate the bed, so all that’s left is starting on a budget for April.

Not gonna happen tonight, that’s for sure.

Playing WoW, Played with the kids, the dog and pet the cat.

I probably should not share Doritos with the cat. Hell, I shouldn’t eat them at all, but you know how it goes.

I think the iPod is on crack. Ministry is most certainly Metal and not Industrial. I think.

Thinking of metal, I need some Otep and Kittie on the iPod….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

ministry was industrial for like exactly one album (well, 2 if you count the live one) there between their synthpop years and the metal era… ;)

    …Which Album?

Right now it seems to think Psalm 69 and Filth Pig (the only two I have on it) are industrial.

Synthpop Ministry is always confusing when you’re used to the more recent stuff….

‘the mind is a terrible thing to taste.’ (that and ‘land of rape and honey’ are my favourites).

actually…now that i think about it, ‘land of rape and honey’ is fairly industrial-y, as is ‘psalm 69.’ the live one, ‘in case you didn’t feel like showing up (live)’ is also phenonmenal… :)

“The Lord is my weapon and my shield’s a pawn
Women is a devil, God is a fraud.
Everyone you knew, everything you’ve ever done,
Suffer for your freedom, God is a gun!”

Which I think would be a good lead-in for Hallowed Point…

“Release the slide to cleanse inside,
    prepare to annoint.
Snap the tongue in grove discharged
    to make my Hallowed Point!”
