Well, Phooey

Some bad news, the IllWillPress guy is being a jerk, won’t run your campaign
for whatever reason. I managed to slip 5000 impressions in, but now have to
put somewhere else. It is doing very well on Boingboing.net and we could
just up the impressions there, or we can try and get it on

Let me know what you think.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

I don’t understand what this means. Did you pay? Are they refusing to put the banners up for you? They should be legally obligated to place all the banners for which you have paid.

Stand up and speak!!! Don’t let them get away with cheating you. That is your hard-earned money at work.

…that serves banners on their site. In the end, it’s up to the individual site owner to say “I don’t want that on my site” – kind of like someone paying ABC to run a show or an ad and a local station saying “this isn’t good for this station” and running it on another station they own or in a different slot.

I can see his view – his site, and he can reject any ad he wants. I just hope he tells me why….
