holy crap

What am I going to do with 14 bottles of beer left over from the Christmas dinner? I expected the beer drinkers to actually drink beer….

(and I drink maybe one beer a quarter…)

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

Beer bread. Steamed shrimp, crabs, whatever. Find recipes for it. Or else I’ll come over and help clear that space in the fridge. Hehe.

Beer and cheese fondue. Or Welsh rarebit (beer + cheese +/- paprika & pepper; melt; pour over toasted bread then broil 3 minutes until brown and bubbly.)

    Or share it ;)

    Have a party?

1 beer to every 4 cups of water makes some tasty soup

The rarebit sounds good as hell. mmmm, cheese, beer and bread.

The 3 main food groups ;)

It’s also called Welsh rabbit, in case you’re looking for recipes and can’t find one. I made it once with some several-day-old homemade bread (oatmeal honey, I believe), and it was absolutely brilliant. Store-bought bread works just as well, but the slices aren’t thick enough.
