Hump Day

Start the day off slowly – Jake decided he wanted t be up at 6am. 6am and demanding to watch Thomas snuggled in bed with Mom. Which is cute and all, but *I* wanted to be snuggled in bed with Mom.

I lost, but had to get up for work anyway.

Had a divine Lunch with at Babymoon Cafe. Last one f those for a while as were both going to be making up the excess in 2005.

One work day left. ANd the company meeting tomorrow at bali hai time. Grrr. Maybe I’ll dial in on my cel and mute it….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

FWIW, if you dial in, you get muted for the whole thing anyway by the teleconference system.

Babymoon is really good. I can literally walk across the street at work to get there. Have you had the mussels?

I opened the menu, and beelined right to the mussels.

Holy shit, they treat you right, even if the service can be a little slow. I definately plan on going back.

And yeah, for a fleeting moment I thought “I should stop in and see Jay as long as I’m on this side of town…” but decided against it.
