Finally

Sales meeting is over. Life can get back to normal.

New phone is on it’s way. Should be here by Friday at the latest.

THUG2 is in my hands. Target also has a special – $10 gift card free w/purchase of THUG2. So I’ve got $10 for use at Target. That’s half the cost of a pair of cargo pants, or this really cool looking shirt I saw today.

Still working out some pain point on my shared calendar. But it’s getting better.

Talked to my boss and he and I see the same sort of thing for my future. Happy, happy.

KDE 3.3 is still the bomb.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

Not to pester you, but have you had any insight into getting USB to agree with my computer again? I recall when I first got it, or upgraded a couple times ago, the USB support went all hooey and getting the printer happy again required voodoo.

If KDE is really that kickin, maybe I’ll consider switching sometime when I have ample free time to redo all my settings. Urgh…

and I appologize for not being on top of it.

Email me the output of lsmod and the contents of modprobe.conf when you can. That’ll give me a general idea as to what modules are loaded, ’cause I should’ve started there…
