Sharing the pain

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

Anchovies on *any* pizza = ewwww

I used to make the pizza guy cut my pizza before he cut my ex’s. There’s nothing worse than anchovy juice on my mushroom pizza…except the stink of leftover anchovy in the refrigerator!

Now that I’ve fed the cat, the reconstituted fish muck he eats smells a lot like the leftovers did in the ziplock bag.

At least I was kind and ziplocked it…

Sacrilege! You should not have any leftover pizza (unless you were appeasing the pizza gods and bought way too many pizza as an offering). Anchovy pizza should be eaten first to avoid leftoverage. Other toppings can be really good on cold pizza for a day or two later.

Next time I’m going for a Personal Pan Pizza to avoid such waste. Of course, the lack of a “small” is what did me in, thinking to myself that an anchovy pizza for me was just the thing I needed this weekend, and a medium was the smallest sane size I could get.

    That was a wrong answer….
