Tuesday *Friends*

Today started out a bit bumpy, then smoothed out in the afternoon.

Started by having to reschedule my slot on the morning’s interview team, so I could keep my lunch appointment. At last check, 6 candidates for 2 slots. Which means six interviews in as many workdays. And in tomorrow’s interview I’ll be getting my Targeted Selection evaluation, so with any luck, I’ll be certified tomorrow.

Then put out some fires, and off to meet for the aforementioned lunch appointment. With Kashin closed on Tuesdays (when did the start doing that on Tuesdays?) we decided to try Coffee and Crepes. Let me just say, that the savory crepes are yummy. I had the Mediteranian and she had the Spinach & Ricotta (I think I first heard about it from . Dude, owe you one for that one). Lots of Chitchat, great story about her weekend in HELL, recommended some of you to her, fun all around.

Since today was ‘s Red Hat day, which meant I got to see three of my favorite women-who-I’m-not-married-to in one day (, who I see daily, is the third – for those of you keeping score).

Got to ride home with the top down. Family dinner (rare), walked J and the dog (Brandon’s first real walk on a leash), and watched little R play his video games.

I should do the bills, but that can wait until morning. I think I’ll go work on my multi-blog posting interface instead.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

On the one hand, the angsty bitching of high-schoolers is so not me anymore, and I’ve been getting random adds from a teenage girl or two.

Dude, I’m thinking you have a problem. I mean, how much time do you really spend looking at tubgirl and goatse?

    Do we need an intervention?

No, you don’t. I have no idea what you’re talking about, so you owe someone else.

It’s not recreational, it’s just the worst thing I know of on the web (that won’t get me arrested when I bust it out).
