So after finishing book 2 of the Stephanie Plum Mysteries (title: Two for the Dough) last night at 12:30, I crashed out. I was rudely awakened by the alarm at 6:30, which, in retrospect is a lot better than having the dog in my face because he’s got to go.

Monday morning meeting was blissfully short. Then met for lunch at the Farmer’s Market. Sami pointed out the crawfish, and I was all about that.

Came back to work, set up my Nightmare Before Christmas desk fountain, and started poking at JOnAS and Eclipse 2.1. I’ll be building a call stats app for the sales team using both tools.

I should pick up a bigger HD on the way home tonight in anticipation of my Doom3 Pre-order coming in soon. SATA or PATA? I need to decide soon.

Right, back to work…

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

The fountain is gonna cause problems – it soulds like it’s pee-ing all the time, and I may be in the bathroom more with it here. But it looks *SO COOL*.

That was a tame lunch adventure. Just ask Sandra and Jenny. *smirk* But I’ll do it again anytime….
