Hot & Happy

OK, the Habinyero Salsa they stock at Lowe’s Foods in downtown PBO is rightfully labeled “hot”

it should be labeled “OMG OWIE OWIE OWIE” because it makes a D10 at Bali Hai look like wimp food. I’d rate it at about D15 or so.

needs some of this stuff.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

mmmm… a good old friend of mine makes his own habanero salsa, and it’s *fabulous*…

of course, when you have to wear rubber gloves while slicing your peppers, so that you don’t burn your hands with the oil, you KNOW it’s gonna be a good one… mmmmm

i made my own salsa a few years ago, in the summer, and that was some good stuff…

man… the things i need to get back into…
hell, the things i need to go add to my interests… i’m not as shallow as i thought!

glad you got some good hot stuff, though… and i’m jealous of the new grill… :)

I was talking to Dad on AIM, he said mom grew some habeneros that were too hot for him. Yikes.

    I dunno – my co-workers think it’s a spectator sport.

Sushi again tomorrow, BTW. Probably Sushi Blues in Raleigh.

The new grill rocks. I’m gonna start lobbying renee on having more than just family over.

I need to make my own salsa, since I can spice it up or down as much as I like. Maybe next tomato season….
