on pools and hair

bored bored bored.

I think I’m going to see if I can find some more black pants for a good price online. And with a good return plan. I need something I can wear to work that doesn’t suck.

Still not sure about my hair – we’ll see on Saturday, since i need to take Ray in for a trim as well.

if I could draw I’d work on my angel and devil. *sigh*

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

    ditto, ditto, ditto.

I spent a few hours in the pool with Drue today so I am also tired, tired, tired. There is nothing like battling a five year to keep her from drowning you in the deep end.

You could do the hair yourself?!?!? Get a good trimmer and knock it down a bit at a time. I mean, sure, it will grow back but why not take some time and try different lengths until you find what you really like?!?!!? :)

I know exactly how that goes – Ray is still getting the hang of swimming.

And yeah, I coudl do that, but I’d hate to invest in a pair of clippers I end up using once, you know?

trust me, if you end up keeping your hair knocked down short, you’ll use them far more than once…

as for me, i have an adustable beard trimmer that i keep around for the maintenance of my goatee, and i use that [sans guard] to knock my hair down to just above the skin… from there, i can either leave it [very clean for a few days] or shave with a razor very easily… it’s a good solution, or a very good intermediate step.
