Back at ya!

I can’t seem to sit still ofr more than a little while before I get bored. And then I start thinking about doing *MORE* work on the closet-soon-to-be-computer-room and have to do something else.

All that’s left on my to-do list from today is to get the parts for the new desk. And for that I need two file cabinets/selving units about desk height and a blank door – preferable solid core wood, but I can work with one of the hollow core ones.

Moving the electrical outlet was the hardest job today. The rest went smoothly, it just took some time.

Tomorrow I need to start emptying the current computer room of trash, and moving things upstairs – starting with the wardrobe so I can move my work clothes into it…

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

It sounds like you’ve been very busy this weekend. I am impressed. You’ve inspired me to tackle some of the house projects that I keep saying I will do later!

Hello!! I found you through the community and we also have a few friends in common. I just wanted to let you know that I’d added you.

No worries. I added you back because, well, you sound like my kind of freak (in the good way! the good way!) in your entries, and you use one of Rion’s Toons in your layout, and you gotta respect some Rion, right?
