Only one day left

(Written on Thursday night, forgot to post)

Day two of the sales meeting is done. Everyone looks at me funny when I choose coming home over the company sponsored “dinners” – at places like Jillian’s or Bogart’s. Thanks, I’d rather be home with the kids and not watching y’all drink.

And tonight it was a good thing, too. The dog had tried steal the frozen pizza (nothing a knife and the oven couldn’t fix), and Ray wasn’t feeling well. And by that I mean “skipped dinner and threw up just after I got home at 7:45”.

No school for Ray tomorrow. and I still have to work.

Assuming I can find rotors, I’ll be fixing my front brakes this weekend. Time to be determined. I hope to have do them, but if the parts aren’t available, I’ll probably have to have my Pittsboro guy do them on Monday.

Second Brake problem on this car. Something to think about as I reduce debt.

Renee is going to a movie with Mom on Saturday. Dunno the exact time. Sunday is a Hockey game, and the NFC Championship. First time in years I’ve been interested in watching football – mostly because it’s the local team. Everyone else in my family can be into football. I’ll stick with Hockey.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
