So yesterday went OK. Sold the hockey tix, went to mom and dad’s for dinner, home, hang out, sleep.

Bought The Wolves in the Walls on Saturday. Ray has made me red it to him every night since we got it.

Many thanks to , , , for remembering my birthday was yesterday, and for noticing.

Mom wanted to know what to get me, since she was in awe of my fried turkey (as per my proposed wager back here which she never formally accepted but has decided to honor). When I told her the tattoo thing, she was not impressed. Threw out some other ideas for her.

I should just give my family my Amazon wish list and be done with it.

Did not have cake – had Peach Pie with ice cream and hot fudge instead. I’m not complaining, it was good stuff.

Work today is thankfully slow, since I need more rest. At lunch I swung by Blue Flame and talked to Christy about my next tattoo. She’ll get back to me next week with some drawings, and we’ll go from there.

Ah well, almost time for the 4pm concall. Too bad I’m on center stage, otherwise I’d sleep through it.

Until tomorrow

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

BTW, Doug is planning to go into the office today & I’m setting out your cds to go with him. Thanks again!

And that’s cool – your CDs are on my desk waiting. So if I’m not there he can just swap ’em out.

I might not have noticed until tomorrow the way my days are going…
