I don’t wanna grow up….

Otherwise, Friday is over, the 4 day week is done, and here we are.

Bought some Single Malt on the way home – I’ll be cracking it open tomorrow night, maybe. Depends on what Renee wants to do.

Another normal week, I suppose. Things are starting to pick up at work. Summer is over, and It’s time to do all that end of calender year biz. Rock and roll.

Saturday looks to be busy. Lawn to mow, work in the attic to finish, maybe some shelves to build this weekend.

And bills to pay. Always bills to pay *grin*

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

you are telling me!!! *grump* adding drue’s tuition bill to my “bills to pay” is making my fun money delve down to the negative balance. :\ ah well. she’s worth it.

i never got the whole “i’m in a home, time to do this lawn stuff, cleaning stuff, spend the weekend on house stuff” business that you others *wink* seem to like to do. now i realize you don’t necessarily like it… it just has to get done.

gah, i hate being a responsible adult sometime. when the hell did i grow up???

All the store I stopeed at had (worth a damn) was Macallen, so I bought the 12 year.

Saw some Claymore blend, but thats not what I’m after. They ahd a Mac-somethingelse, but it was most likely a 5 year, since it didn’t say how long it was aged.

I dunno – I’m trying to figure out when it happened to me. Probably when Ray was born, but I’m not sold on that yet.

nah, i fervently believe drue keeps me young. god knows i act her age a lot!! ;)

i think it was when i realized i was pretty much responsible for her and help shape who she is and might become (aka when she was saying something to her baby dolls and i gulped thinking “my god *I* say that?!?”…) and realized it was time to take some responsibility for the person i am and figure out who *I* want to be…

that said, i am sort of enjoying that part of it. the paying bills sucks tho… :\
