Thursday, Thursday

Jake went to sleep early last night, Ray slep the night threough…I’m all set for a crash & burn at midnight, and…

…the dog wakes me up at 2-something to go outside. Except, from the feel of the carpet, he doesn’t need to go outside, he just wants a drink from downstairs….

…and again he wakes me up at 5-something, for the same purpose….

…and then I hit snooze one too many times, and it’s 6:41, and I’ve got to get everyone up, together, and out (including myself) in the next 20 mins. 10 mins for me to get ready, 10 to mov everyone else along, get Renee and the boys out only 5 mins late, and myself out about 20 mins late (had to do stuff after they left). Got to work on time, but I can feel the burn today.

And my shoulders are a little sore as they attempt to un-do the loosinging put on them yesterday.

Thankfully, I think there is beer this afternoon.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
