Look, he lives!

I’ve been slack on the updated. not much is really going on.

Kids are fine. Ray is adapting to school really well.

Brandon is fine, although he needs to get the housebreaking thing right soon. Oh, and I’m gonna see if we can schedule his neutering this week. he’s chewing on everything he can, too.

The builder starts on the fence tomorrow. That will help with the housebreaking, I hope.

Ray and I got haircuts yesterday. Then we cleaned out parts of the garage, and washed my car. Today I need to mow the field – it’s been about three weeks, and the grass is taller than the baby right now. Hell, it’s taller than the dog.

Brandon got a workout and was passed out at like, 10:30. He woke me up to take him outside at 2:30 and again at 5:20. The 5:20 run was interrupted by road noise. He’s such a wussy, and was on the porch with his tail between his legs in no time. And when we came back in, Jacob wanted to play.

I’ve started doing some curls with 8 pound mini-barbells. These are weights Renee had me buy when she was doing some workout videos. They’ve been gathering dust since we moved. 20 right, 20 left, repeat once. I can already feel a little bit of a difference. Hell, I may move up to 10s before too long.

Starting September 2, I have a membership through work at the NCSU gym. Some of the guys go every day at lunch, so I’m gonna try to go with them 3 times a week, and brown-bag lunch on those days. Save a ton of $$, and maybe fix my three issues – ass, abs, and arms.

We’ll see how it goes.

Time to get Renee & Jacob up. The off to mow.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
