Rain, Rain

I need to mow the lawn, but can’t mow if it’s wet. At this rate, I’m gonna need a bush-hog to mow.

Busy day ahead. At least with the rain, mowing isn’t a priority right away. But Ray needs a shower, and we all need to get ready for his school open house from 1-4. Then we buy school supplies and groceries. then home, dinner, and if it’s not too late or too wet (anymore) maybe I’ll mow after dinner.

And I still have to find my badge for work tomorrow….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

I hear you about the rain. I don’t have a lawn to mow, but there is mold all over the wall by my back door and mushrooms have been growing out of my doorstep. Gross!!!! Where is the sun? There had better be some sun in Wilmington next weekend or I’m going to be a surly girl.

Dooooode, I am SOOOOO glad I’m in SB right now, because we haven’t had a cloud in the sky all weekend. It is a refreshing change.

Almost like Raleigh is getting all the rain we didn’t get last summer. Enough already.

Our lawn desperately needs mowing but that’s hard to do when there are puddles in the back yard! I realize we had a drought last year but there’s no need to make up for it all at once.
