Ugh. More rain overnight. I guess the lawn won’t get mowed this morning – or will it.

We’ll see.

Party went swimmingly yesterday. Fun was had by all, although the pinyata failed to open. It was one of the pull-sting modes, and the proper string snapped. So we beat on it for a while and eventually I had to cut it open. The kids didn’t seem to mind, so I guess it’s all good.

We eventually went shopping in the evening, then got take-out from Smithfield BBQ and played outside. Jacob became a *BITCH* after Ray went to bed. OMFG, he was crying, whiny, nothing made him happy – it was obvious he was over tired, but he wouldn’t go to sleep. And when he finally did, it was time for us to crash.

Bad end to a great day, but it didn’t really detract from things.

Now to find either a multiplexer for the feed to the TiVo, or just run a new cable for the second input. I expect it’ll be the latter.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
