Brandon has his hedgehog. i think he likes it because it going “snort snort snort” instead of “squeek” when you squeeze it.

Morning was *SLOW*. Then was late for both my mid-day appointments – one not my fault, the second one my fault because the first ran over. Blah.

but my shoulders feel a little better, and hopefully we can fix them a little more permanently.

afternoon was also slow. Must be the holiday week. If I can get the art tomorrow, maybe I can get the tat on Thursday – if the off-side customer visit Thursday doesn’t eat all my afternoon.

you know, I’m starting to wonder if I’m ever going to get the tat. I mean, it took me how long to get the right string, then how long to make up my mind for sure, and now how long to get the final piece?

Or am I just impatient?

oh well. had an idea for a second one for the other shoulder. maybe. If I like the first one. I am having some doubts -0 the closer I get, the more the word “forever” sinks in. it’s not like I can just wipe it off if I don’t like it. kinda scary.

got to go – dog is into the cat food….again

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

  2. alchemist says:

Ooh, quite possibly. Although the 4th is Ray’s B-Day, so the family will be over here.

it’s do-able, but scheduling could be fun. My sister and her husband and kid will be in town for the 4th and 5th for sure, so I ahve no idea what the plan is yet.

email me and we’ll work it out. I *DO* want to catch up with you while you’re in town, if we can.

Has the dog discovered the litter box yet?

  4. alchemist says:

yes. he discovered that clumping litter sticks to the roof of your mouth. We’re keeping him out of the covered litter box, and he hasn’t figured out the litter maid (thankfully).

  5. detritus says:

I wouldn’t say you’re impatient, just being *responsible* (gasp!) and thinking through what you want, where, and who does it.

I’m the same way with maybe getting a dog.
