The Party on Sunday went well. I got to talk to *ADULTS* who weren’t co-workers. Refreshing.

Came home, finished up my pre-work stuff for Monday and crashed.

Work on Monday was pretty good. Things were a little jagged when I got home, but it’s best we discuss that elsewhere.

Tuesday was fabu. I had confirmation of my tix for Matrix Reloaded. Then a couple of good calls, but no progress on my presentation. One unsettling blip on the radar screen, but nothing I can really do anything about right now.

Also got confirmation that the Go Bowls from China I had bid on I had won. Qing dynasty, which places them at 1900 or earlier.

Called the Kia dealer on Sedona information. Looks like they had the one we wanted in stock.

Came home, found that my new Chucks had arrived. Zebra stripes, on my feet now. Renee wanted to drive the van ASAP, so we piled into the car – all four of us – and drove to Kia of Durham.

After a couple of hiccups, we had the right person in front of us, and had put the carseats in a Sedona EX. Niiiice. Renee liked it, I liked it, the price was right, and we drove it home. I have to take the pickup in for the trade today, and then it’s a done deal. I’ll be taking her Honda Accord, which will be cool, since it drives more like a sports car than the pickup anyway.

Came home, cleaned out the truck, put the carseats into the van, spent some QT with Renee, and crashed. Got up and did the usual morning thing and here I am.

Whee! I need more coffee.

Tomorrow I need to take the Honda to Bunky’s and figure out if I can get the radio I want put in before next week. Not having a CD player in that car is gonna suck.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
