Hot and sticky in the office this AM. It appears I got here before the A/C got going for the day.

Work has been about normal lately. Been working with all kinds of groups in the office to get things done right. And it seems to be the right thing – almost all of my crises from the last two weeks are now under control and smoothed out.

And since it’s end of quarter, the reps are kicking ass, and don’t need me as much.

The music I listen to on the way in seems to be a precursor to my day. Today has been the Mortal Kombat Movie soundtracks (First movie: OK, soundtracks good. Sencond Movie: Bad, but soundtrack good). We’ll see.

Had lunch with ‘Tuze on Thursday. I bought a multia from him, and now it sits in my cube, waiting for some love. Renee had a bad day, so I had stopped and bought her flowers on the way home. Had to be done, don’tchaknow. Especially since she called me in the middle of lunch in tears. Yeah, that bad. It got better, but I think the flowers helped….

OK, off to work. Maybe get some writing done today if things aren’t too busy. I’m behind on that project *sigh*

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
