Today was *FINALLY* a less hectic day than normal.

– Jenny is still sick, so I had to cover some more of her calls. Not a problem.
– Sushi Blues for Lunch….better than last time. The scallop and sweet shrimp made my day. Mmm. Shrimp head. I think I won points with the Japanese waitress for the shrimp head.
– Massage from . Um, hell yeah. Gonna have to do that again, and everyone else should too. Afterwards I went up to my manager’s office for my review, and told him that “You could fire me now, and it’d take about half an hour before I’d tense back up”
– Performance review – better than expected, not as good as I want to be, but sets realistic and attainable goals for the next year.
– Went with same manager to shoot pool for an hour. Twist his arm. :)
– Back to the office for a tough but good call – I think we might have a Satellite sale there in a few months. Gonna be a long cycle, though.
– picked up dinner on the way home, got the next NetFlix round in
– Finished the Dragon boss on Kingdom Hearts (finally).

And now, some DVDs, and then some sleep. I can finally relax a little.

Until tomorrow *grin*

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

I’ve been going to Asahi for my sushi. Especially since the Sushi chef there will let me do things like order white tuna sashimi even though it’s not on the menu :-) Yummy! Actually, when I’m on the Atkin’s diet (I’m not now) an order of Hamachi sashimi, an order of Tuna sashimi, and an order of White Tuna sashimi all together fills you up very nicely! :-)

Oh, you wouldn’t want to go with me right now though…I have to eat my salad with my chopsticks left handed because of the wreck. That’s always a challenge :-)

I adore Asahi, but Keaton wasn’t in the mood for someplace new. *shrug* I think he and and I are going there next week.

Asahi has the *BEST* sweet shrimp in town. And a very good Sea Urchin. (I need to re-try it. Right now the sea urchin at Waraji is tops) But I never get to order off the menu there. I guess I’ll have to go with you and Jessica to get the “extras”.

I think I told Jessica we’d have to do that when you were better. And I don’t care if you go nuts with the salad – hell, use a fork if that works better and the chef won’t freak on you *grin*

I actually went there last night for dinner (I wasn’t going to go, but at the last moment I decided it would be OK). I had the Bulgogi and Sushi combo. It was *very* good. They were nice and brought me a fork because the owner knows about my shoulder, but since I didn’t have my sling on I could actually use the chopsticks with my right hand, I just had to duck my head down in order to reach my mouth ;-)
