Pickled Eggs came out well. Day one and they were perfect. Day two is even better. By day four the yolks should be turning purple, which is heaven if you like pickled eggs.

I’ve twice sent GPG-signed mail to someone I know can’t read them. I’ll send a third, and hope she doesn’t kick my ass for spamming her.

Was driving with Mikey when he spotted an old GF of mine waiting for the bus. Yeah, uh, that was slightly awkward, but at least I know she’s alive. Time has left it’s marks on both of us, though. I think I’ve got it pretty good considering where she’s been, and that she’s pretty tough to have made it there and back, as it were.

She didn’t recognize me at first. Mike did say that I’m not “heroin-thin chic” anymore. That’s a good thing, I think. I just need to work off the excess now. (note – I just had a high metabolism. I could eat for days and not gain jack. That changed when I quit smoking cigarettes.)

Time for sleep. Or something. Maybe see if I can pry Renee off the computer *nudge* *nudge* *wink* *wink*

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
