Jacob was up late. And by late, I mean 12:20am. Which is about 2.5 hours past his bedtime. but renee let him nap from 7:30 top 8:30, so it’s no wonder.

And, of course, you know who had to let him cry himself out, since Renee won’t do it.

And then I’m up at 7 for my usual no apparent reason.

Ray has been up for half an hour, and he’s already pushing the limits of daddy’s patience. May, a 4-year-old is a joy to behold, but when he’s in high maintenance mode, he’s murder. Thank the gods I go to work tomorrow., and that preschool is Tuesday. In the mean time, we’ve got to do *SOMETHING* to get rid of his pent up energy – it’s not like we can go outside for any length of time.

Argh. Gonna be one of those days, I can feel it.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

Nap from 7:30-8:30….isn’t bedtime around that time anyway???

Jacob usually naps between 11 & 12, then again 4-ish to 5-ish (if he takes an afternoon nap) with bedtime being anywheer between 9 & 10:30. Ray gets up at about 7, then goes to bed no later than 9 (if I can help it).

Yesterday he napped from about 11 to 2, then the 7:30 to 8:30/9-ish one. We had *HOPED* that since he hadn’t taken an afternoon nap, maybe he would go out for the night, but Ray woke him up as part of the usual bedtime drama over tooth brushing.

OTOH, if we let him cry himself out more often, maybe we’d have our damn bed back by now….
