Went to Sushi Thai for lunch. Had “Thai Hot” Thai Green Curry and spring rolls. Will have to try “Crazy Hot” next time, since “Thai Hot” was what I call “slightly warm.”

Work is cool, although I’ve still got a lot to learn. Or at least, a lot to be sure of, since it’s probably all in my head by now.

And now, to read some email, and then crash. Right after this Oreo….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

We have been to sushi thai a number of times and have always been happy. If you want really spicy, you should try Thai Vill on Buck Jones road just across from South Hills mall. That’s some damn good food – and if it has 3 stars it will be *really* spicy.

Glad to hear work is starting off good. It’s a pretty good place to work from all I’ve heard.

(Doug says that my really spicy may not be your really spicy… I do whine and get tears in my eyes at the level 3.)

Mmm. Thai Villa. I like Thai Villa. They have the fat Thai Noodles at lunch, too.

something to plan for next week….*grin*

One of my co-workers claimed I look like Doug on my badge pic……maybe it’s just this haircut *grin*

What department are you working in?

Technically I work for consulting, but I actually work in Inside Sales. My direct report is listed as Nathan, but I work with the sales guys and rarely see him.

You can’t miss the cube I share with spot – just look for Vampire Hunter D and Goku *grin*
