Renee had ordered the second (and final) Golden Boy DVD. It was cheap, and at the time, I’m not sure we should have, but it came in yesterday.

Golden Boy is the story of a “Wandering Student” – he’s a bit of a dork, and he takes notes all the time, because life is one big lesson, and he’s learning. And he’s a bit Echi, so you know…

…There are six episodes. This DVD has episodes 4-6, and 5 is, by far, the funniest on the DVD IMHO. I can’t say *WHY* without giving away the story. I was literally spasming with laughter and tears were running down my face at the end of it. Hell, I’m giggling now just thinking about it.

It’s a cool little OVA series, and buying both DVDs is well worth the purchase price.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
