Another Sunday, another night waiting to see if the phone rings. Mail is still accessible, therefor I’m fairly certain I’ve still got a job come 9am tomorrow. Now, if we can have a *PAYCHECK* by Wednesday, I can relax for a week or two. or until the next round of bills, and the associated late paycheck *sigh*

You could always code a “keepalive” script (or find one on freshmeat) that tests your company personal directory website, and sends failures as text msgs to your phone. One of the first things already disabled before I got my call was wz.com/~sburnett/ apache serving. Of course, I was the last person they called, and if the server hiccups and sends a false failure text msg you might freak…. d
