Yesterday was…odd.

Ray woke me up at 6:15 – an hour early. Got to the office “on time” (as it were) and helped out a co-worker until the farewell lunch for one of the project managers (and the person I worked with the most in the past two years). Renee called about an anime cel she saw, and that she wanted me to look at. One of my favorite characters, and now we own it.

Went to Patio Loco in Chapel Hill for the lunch. It rocked. Then I helped her figure out a problem with her car, and then she was gone. I’ll miss working with her a LOT. Oh well.

Called home, and Renee said that Ray was being really good. Stopped at Carr Mill Mall to check on Animation Cel framing prices. $200 each, give or take.

Came home, and discovered that in the past 15 mins or so, Ray had colored on the TV & fish tank. The he looks us square in the face and says “I didn’t color on the TV…” etc. So much for being good. *sigh* Dinner was late after we punished Ray for his crimes, and cleaned crayon off all the glass.

Grilled salmon for dinner.

The rest of the evening went well, and I crashed early. I needed to. Woke at my normal time this morning, and here I am, with Jacob on my chest, typing away….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
