Take your protein pills an put your helmet on…

Renee requested that I cook dinner tonight, specifically the fish we had in the freezer. And so :

Oven Broiled Catfish Filets with lemon
Steamed Asparagus with essence of thyme
Fresh Cantaloupe
Cut green beans for little people

recipes available upon request *grin*

While I was cutting up the lemon, my classic rock station played a block of Bowie – Changes, Under Pressure, and Space Oddity, which was just what I needed at that moment in time.

After cleaning up the dishes, we went outside and I re-worked the drainage out front – again. And shot some basketball.

Then, 5-chocolate Ice cream, and a little TV before putting the little man to sleep.

Hmm. I think the weekend will be a good one. My sister and her husband and son will be here tomorrow sometime, which will be extra cool.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

ssay do you know which bowie song ends with the metallic robot voice (no music at the very end) : “and we kiss!”

I cannot recall that one. Of course, there’s lots of bowie out there. I’d suspect it to be part of the late 70’s/80’s glam period, or on “Earthling”
