Stress mounts

I just went through our taxes. I don’t like to think about the amount we owe this year. On top of the OTHER debts, Renee’s joblessness, and all the other bills, I feel overburdened. Tired of it all.

Fuck if I know where the money for the IRS is gonna come from, since I don’t know where the money to pay the mortgage is gonna come from next month either. Partial payments? We’ll see.

I will sleep now, and re-process everything in the morning. Maybe I missed a bunch of deductions.

I should be so lucky.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

I’m in the midst of doing my taxes too. It’s a fucking nightmare, no matter how much you have taken out of your paycheck it’s never enough. I am running out of money very fast due to my doctor bills and I’m also afraid I’ll get audited because since I am in the process of getting a divorce and have had to split the claiming of certain profits and expenses with my ex, the information the financial institutions sent to the IRS is not going to be the same as what I am sending in, due to dividing things in half, and it’s going to raise a big red flag. And now the rent is due…great, just fucking great!!! Gods I have a headache.

    In darkness,
