Grr. on the drive in this am, Renee calls me. Now, I’m a big proponent of hands-free headsets and such from cel phones, but mine ahs gone MIA. So I flip open the phone and get treated to such a blast of static that I can do nothing more than tell her that I’ll call back.
She calls back twice, the third time leaving a voicemail. So I access the voicemail. More static.
Crap.
I drop ray off at daycare, and call Renee to see what was up. Nothing to panic over, so I go directly to the Sprint store to show them how my phone is mis-behaving.
They replaced the phone, and copied over the phone book. Groovy. I have to reprogram all the voice dial entries, but that’s OK – they did keep my phone book.
Also, Samsung makes a geat headset for this phone with an answer/hangup button on the throat mic. Extra groovy – no more fumbling for the phone when I’m driving and have to answer.
Keep using that headset while driving or risk a moving violation ticket as of January 1.
…so many other driver haven’t clued that in. You’d think there would be some fanfare and reminders of that in the paper. But no…and I’d *LOVE* to see someone pulled for it…
